Now more than ever, the addiction & mental health recovery community needs to come together—creating connection and community at scale—due to the devastating impact of COVID. September 2021 will provide one of the first opportunities to do just that. This year’s Recovery Month will be a testament to the resiliency and strength of our community.
Mobilize Recovery is an initiative of the Recovery Advocacy Project and The Voices Project. Its mission is to expand policy to support recovery, create connections to supportive services that are vital and life-saving, and to engage affected individuals in meaningful civic action. The initiative convenes advocates with lived experience to build capacity for organized civic engagement with new leadership across the country.
Each year, hundreds of recovery advocates & individuals with lived experience are selected to attend Mobilize Recovery to learn innovative strategies and tactics for grassroots organizing. You’ll connect with other community leaders and gain access to new tools to streamline your organizing and advocacy work.
In addition to the phenomenal learning & participants from across the country last year, we were grateful to be joined at Mobilize by President Clinton, Macklemore, Elton John, former Rep. Patrick Kennedy, and more. Our team has been hard at work planning an even more immersive experience for 2021, and we hope you’ll join us!
Please don’t wait — and apply today! Additional details can be found at mobilizerecovery.org.
