Mobilize Recovery 2022 is now live! We’re excited to join nearly two dozen cross sector partners from across the country to bring the 2022 initiative both online and into communities through two unique opportunities to engage with.
Mobilize Recovery is an initiative of the Recovery Advocacy Project and the Voices Project. Its mission is to expand policy to support substance use disorder recovery, create connections to supportive services that are vital and lifesaving, and to engage affected individuals in meaningful community action.
It’s often coined that recovery meets people where they’re at. That’s why in 2022 the initiative is partnering with organizations, brands, & individuals across the country to bring the Mobilize Recovery experience to their communities. Launching Labor Day weekend 2022, Mobilize Recovery Across America will depart on a west to east cross-country bus tour, stopping in cities and towns across the country. At each stop, communities will be brought together to highlight the recovery experience that is so unique in different pockets throughout America. With the support of brands such as Google and YouTube, all stops will have a virtual component so audiences can tune in from around the country to learn about how different areas of the nation are mobilizing to create change.
Now in its fourth year, Mobilize Recovery 2022 will continue to build upon its impact, success, & reach by hosting this year’s national event at the conclusion of the bus tour as an interactive virtual experience. Participation is free of cost for selected participants who complete the application process.
Hundreds of people in recovery, family members, & recovery allies attend Mobilize Recovery’s annual event. They connect with other recovery leaders, advocates, and grassroots allies to gain access to new tools & streamline their organizing and advocacy work to end addiction & inspire recovery in their communities.
This year’s Mobilize Recovery promises to be an experience like no other. Whether it’s through engaging with the national bus tour as it makes its way across the country in September—or through the virtual convening at the end of National Recovery Month, we hope you can find a way to join us as we work together to end addiction and inspire solutions for recovery.
